Social Life in BSD After a long week of work, I enjoy nothing more than spending time in the company of loved ones. Thankfully, after a year of being in BSD, I have been able to find a number of activities to help ease the pressures of daily life. Here are some of my particular favourites: - Eating out: Dining in Jakarta is such a wonderful experience, once you know where to go! There's such a huge variety of cuisines that I didn't previously realise, and the service is usually tip-top! Most recently I went to an Italian restaurant called Emilia Cucina in The Breeze BSD. Now, as someone who's lived in Italy before, I had low expectations upon entering, but HOLY COW, the food was amazing! The atmosphere was complimented by great music and a beautiful setting, which made the whole evening simply wonderful ✅ - Football: I am a staunch Manchester United fan, and finding somewhere in the area to watch the weekend footy was a priority for a football addict such as myself! Bars that show Premier League football in the area include Brew and Barrell, Tuan Muda Sports Bar, Sports Stube and Fez Sports Bar. Cinema: There are LOADS of cinemas in BSD, from TerasKota to The Breeze to AEON Mall, showing the latest releases. Recent movies I've seen are Obsession (5 stars 😁) and The Odessey (3 stars 😐)
