What It's Really Like Teaching English in Indonesia? Teaching English in Indonesia has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Before I arrived, I had plenty of questions. Would I fit in? Would the students understand me? What would daily life be like? Looking back now, I can honestly say it has been an incredible journey.

The Students Make Every Day Worth It! One of the best parts of teaching in Indonesia is the students. They are enthusiastic, curious, and always excited to learn. Whether you're teaching young learners or older students, you'll quickly notice how much they appreciate teachers who make lessons fun and interactive. Watching their confidence grow as they begin speaking English is one of the most satisfying parts of the job.

Keeping lessons engaging is part of the challenge, but it's also what makes teaching so enjoyable. Of course, not everything goes perfectly.
